Initial assessment of Wealthy Affiliate
Positive is the only way to describe my initial assessment in the Wealthy Affiliate community. Since I have joined Wealthy Affiliate (WA) I have built several websites and seen them rank with Google and seen visitors land on those sites and click through to sales.
This was something I was unable to accomplish on my own building websites.

Note: You can remain a free member for 6 months. Yes, you read correctly. You can remain a Free member for up to 6 months before you need to make a decision if working to build a business online is for you.
If you like what you see and want to learn more you can choose to pay $49/month for as many months as you like, or you can become a yearly member for $495/year. That is $1.35 per day, less than the price of a coffee. You only agree to this if you like what you have done after 6 months.

Anyone who has attempted to build an online business knows you need a domain in order to start.
Whether you want to blog or build a store or an information site – you need a Domain.
Domain hosting is included within Wealthy Affiliate. Even as a
starter member you have a free domain that you can build and explore to
your heart’s content.
There is nowhere else on the internet where you can learn to build a website with hosting and training for free.

Wealthy Affiliate is very easy to use. The training is laid out so that all you need to do is follow along in order to build a website, rank the website, build out content, link to social media and begin to monetize your website.
As you follow the training you will build a website – it is that simple.
Any problems you encounter can be searched in the search bar at the top of the WA page and or asked in the live chat or posted as a question for the WA community.
There are thousands of WA members who have created tutorials on everything imaginable.
I think of WA as an Apprenticeship. After the free course, you already have a product. If you continue and build on your knowledge you will continue to hone your craft and increase your success.
Keywords
Here is another area where Wealthy Affiliate excels and has your best interests at heart.
In order to rank your website, you need SEO (Search Engine Optimization) in order to get SEO you need Keywords. Keywords are anything that the average person types into the Google search bar when they use Google to find answers online.
We have all used Google to find answers to your questions. Wealthy Affiliate teaches you how to find Keyword that will rank your website and allow people to find you online. Wealthy Affiliate uses Jaaxy Keyword research tool. If you google Jaaxy you will find positive results.

The Negatives – yes there are some Negatives
It is difficult to take everything in, (it feels overwhelming). The amount of training and information is immense.
- This is a Do-It-Yourself Business – if you do not want to work then this is not for you
- There is so much training
- Learning new things – what is keyword research, why is it important?
- what is SEO and how is it related to my keyword?
It takes time to build a site and grow it into a business.
This is a DIY program – you get out of it what you put into it. If you do not do the work you will not gain the benefits.
This is not a get-rich-quick scheme.

Conclusions
Wealthy Affiliate is one of a kind. It is too good to be true and as such many people will pass on the opportunity of a lifetime. I cannot be surprised, nor sorry for these people. I understand all too well that the internet requires caution and respect for everything that we do or attempt to do.
I can only emphasize that Wealthy Affiliate is the real deal it will allow you to build a website for free and will give you the tools needed to build that website. Once your website is built you can make a decision about continuing with an internet business or not.

My Story
I am not an internet guru, nor am I an expert in Keyword research or SEO. However, I do not have to be those things because they are already taken care of within the WA community. What I do is concentrate on creating content for my website. Continuing to promote and grow my business. The more content I create the greater my opportunity online.
